Cholistan Desert Rally 2018 will take place from 15th to 18th February 2018 in the Cholistan Desert, Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. It is organised by the TDCP (Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab). This year more than 100 drivers will be competing. Participants include Nadir Magsi, one of the most renowned drivers in Pakistan. It will be the 13th edition of the Cholistan Desert Rally. Cholistan Desert Rally is a rally raid type of off-road race in Pakistan. It is also known as Cholistan Desert Rally, Cholistan Jeep Rally or TDCP Cholistan Jeep Rally. It is the biggest motor sports event in Pakistan. The event is run by the Government of Punjab and was first introduced in 2005 by TDCP). The rally starts near the Derawar Fort in Ahmadpur East tehsil in Bahawalpur district. Rally route goes past the historical forts of Derawar, Nawan Kot, Khairgarh, Dingarh, Maujgarh Marot, Mahargarh and Jamgarh. About hundred drivers and teams from all over Pakistan take part in the rally. The event is witnessed by over 100,000 visitors annually.
