Pindi (Rawalpindi) Cricket Stadium is the only international standard cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This stadium has lately been extended to cater to the ever growing number of viewers for the game. With the rise in capacity, it can now hold around 25,000 audience. The stadium held its first Test match in 1993. Rawalpindi cricket stadium is head-to-head to Rawalpindi food street. Before the creation of Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi Club Cricket Ground had been used as a place for international competitions, including one Test match in contradiction of New Zealand that was held in March 1965. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was a major spot in the 1995–96 Cricket World Cup. With an eye on the World Cup of 1996, revealed another new Test place for the second Test against Zimbabwe in Rawalpindi. Karachi played Pakistan's first Test match and Rawalpindi Cricket stadium became the country's 14th Test ground. The flood lights were added in late 2001 when the Australians were set to tour the country. The stadium is just 20 minutes from the capital Islamabad and is the only proper international stadium in the area.

Balochistan Pakistan CupPakistan Cup One Day 2017

The team of Balochistan represents the Balochistan province of Pakistan in the domestic One Day cricket tournament - Pakistan Cup. Pakistan ODI skipper Azhar Ali captained the team in the first edition of Pakistan Cup in April 2016. They finished the group stage at fourth place. The next edition of the tournament will be organised in April-May 2017. The team will play their two home games at Bugti Stadium in Quetta.

Pakistan Cricket BoardThe Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is the governing body for cricket in Pakistan. It is also responsible for the promotion and expansion of the game through its associate and affiliate members throughout the country. Its responsibilities include management of the game at the highest level and the organisation of various domestic tournaments at the national level. PCB also administers the system that provides the maintenance of discipline amongst the constituent members and, by the constituent members, overall cricketing bodies and individuals under their control. PCB is also responsible for coordinating activities in respect of the game of cricket in all manners and ways, including the formulation of the laws of the game, its constituent members and other subordinate bodies and to organise national tournaments and International matches within the country.
