Famous stand-up comedian Jeremy McLellan is bringing "This Biryani Tastes Funny" comic show in Pakistan. First event will take place on 4th August 2017 at Alhamra Art Center in Lahore. Second show will be presented on 10th August 2017 at Islamabad Club. He will conclude his comedy performance on 11th August 2017 at Aiwan e Quaid in Islamabad. South Carolina comedy artist Jeremy McLellan has become a staple at festivals/events around the world. He is here in Pakistan getting into the nitty gritty of our infamous national biryani with a Kuch Khaas show “This Biryani Tastes Funny”. He is set to put three comic performances across Lahore and Islamabad.

Jeremy McLellan hails from Charleston, South Carolina, USA. He has won the 2015 and 2016 Charleston Stand up Comedy Competition. He was named the Best Local Comic in the Charleston City Paper. In addition to telling jokes all over the country he has also performed with TJ Miller, Todd Barry, Tig Notaro, Mark Normand and others. His material covers a wide range of topics like politics, gender, race, disability, religion, and Santa Claus. McLellan is known for often writing about his love for biryani and his humourous commentary on American politics, immigration, Islamophobia and race. His understanding of Islam, diversity of Muslims and Pakistani culture has made him popular among Pakistanis. It is not uncommon to see a myriad of comments from Muslims and Pakistanis on his Facebook status updates.
