Pakistan National Council of the Arts (Urdu: پاکستان قومی انجمن فنون‎, or PNCA) is an apex Cultural body in Islamabad, Pakistan. It spearheads the development of arts in Pakistan. It aims to build a robust arts ecosystem by creating an environment conducive to the flourishing of the arts, where the arts are accessible to everyone and artists and art groups have the commitment, financial support and resources, and to excel at home, and on the world stage.

PNCA is structured into four major divisions: Visual Arts Division, Performing Arts Division, Children Art Workshop and National Puppet Theatre. PNCA is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information Broadcasting & National Heritage, Government of Pakistan. Its facilities include Auditorium, Open Air Theatre and Lecture Hall. PNCA is funded by the Ministry of Culture of Pakistan. National Art Gallery in Islamabad is a part of PNCA.

FACE Music MelaNow Never Ends

FACE Music Mela 2018 will take place on 24th and 25th March 2018 at Pakistan National Council of the Arts, Islamabad. FACE Music Mela is a music festival which is normally held in the capital of Pakistan. It is organized by Foundation for Arts, Culture & Education (FACE). Tagline of this popular Musicmela in Islamabad is "Now Never Ends".

FACE Music Mela, a Project of FACE, is one of the first ever Music Festivals in Pakistan. FACE Music Mela 2014, inaugural edition, titled as Music Mela Conference 2014 ran on 2nd to 4th May 2014 at Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA). FACE Music Mela 2015, second edition labelled as Music Mela Conference & Festival 2015 happened on 17th to 19th April 2015 at PCNA. FACE Music Mela 2016, third edition was presented on 21st to 23rd April 2016 at PCNA. FACE Music Mela 2017 was hosted on 21st to 23rd April 2017 at PCNA. FACE Mela Passu 2017 brought the famous Music Mela of Capital to the Gilgit-Baltistan on 6th and 7th August 2017 at Passu Cricket Ground, near the scenic Passu Cones. FACE Music Mela 2017 Lahore entertained music fans on 11th and 12th November 2017 at Alhamra Cultural Complex near Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Aim of FACE Music Mela is to provide a boost to the fledgling music industry of Pakistan, particularly in Islamabad. It inspires young artists to improve their level of professionalism through performances, workshops and presentations; and to highlight the creative talent of the region in front of promoters, publishers and the media. FACE MusicMela includes master workshops with music teachers and leading artists; live music performances with headlining acts, folk, classical fusion and upcoming acts; lectures followed by Q&A sessions with directors of successful music projects; panel discussions with leading exponents of the music industry of Pakistan including promoters, publishers, educationists and artists; stalls for the introduction and outreach of folk musicians and upcoming bands. Representatives of the South by Southwest Music Festival from Austin, Texas, share their experience at the FACE Music Mela as well as scout for local talent.
